I went on a little recon to the wall and found the entrance to the valley and the mountainous forested area is pretty cool temperature wise rain and wind; saw pine & fir trees, grasses, flowers etc... Moose, Elk and Wolves. I discovered that the Wolves are extremely aggressive and will attack immediately even from a distance.

I think it is here that we will have to hunt big game to make coats, boots and pants from the bigger game animals before venturing to the frozen north.

If you decide to do any recon go beyond the tier 3 wall, into the water and down to your right thru a tunnel in the rock it will tell you that you discovered (name here) place.

First Cybex and I would have to make our way up to the Three Rivers but I think we should be able to do so soon...

I'm dead. Couldn't get back to my body in time. Don't know if I even want to start over.

I built a respawn point (Northern Frontier Camp) It has two beds (maybe needs two more), a box and a campfire. Keeps you a little warm and fed until we can move more north. Its just below the boundary.

We can use this place to scout for a more permanent solution further north and build crafting stations there, not here.

We talked about the tree resin yesterday... seems like you can use it to bring down building costs for tier 2 building structures.

Also, you can craft ichor in the fluid press from putrid meat or unsavory fish. Brimstone can be harvested from the "Lost Springs" in the far northwest but it looks like the caverns at the salt lake are not further away and less dangerous.
